Van Shae IvensThe Express is hosted by native Oklahoman Van Shea Iven. The Pond Creek-Hunter alum spent 17 years at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City in charge of their award winning high school coverage. KFOR-TV's Friday Night Heroes segment was the most watched high school football show in the entire state.

During his time at KFOR-TV, Iven also reported on everything from OU and OSU mens and womens athletics to the Oklahoma RedHawks (AAA Baseball), the Oklahoma City Blazers (CHL Hockey) ,the Oklahoma City Wranglers (Arena Football League), the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (AF2), the Oklahoma Storm (USBL), the Oklahoma City Cavs (CBA), the Oklahoma City Lightning (Womens Professional Football League), the International Finals Rodeo (IFR), the International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR), the Endeavor Games and the Oklahoma Special Olympics.

Iven had the opportunity to cover 14 college football bowl games, three National Championship football games, three Mens Basketball Final Fours, many Baseball and Softball College World Series, an NBA Final, the NFL and Major League Baseball. Iven has covered sporting events in 28 of the 50 states. Now he plans to concentrate on his first love, Oklahoma High School Sports.
