The Express Starts Season #6!

The Oklahoma High School Sports Express will begin season number six on Saturday night at 10:30 on KOCO-TV (ABC) Channel 5. The first show of the season will feature every event that took place during the Oklahoma Coaches Association All State Games. Season number 5 of the Express featured a record number of student-athletes from 295 schools competing in 26 different sports. Van Shea Iven is presented the Ray Soldan Media Award by Brent Mackey at the 2006 All State Basketball Game in Tulsa. The Ray Soldan Award is presented by the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association for Outstanding Contribution to Oklahoma High School Basketball.

Oklahoma High School Sports Express reporter Makenna Smith recently won the 2007 Miss Oklahoma pageant. She will compete in the Miss America pageant in January. Good Luck Makenna!
